Neha was complaining to Ishwari about her childhood days by pointing out that she was the only one who was neglected among her brother and sisters. However, Dev tries to explain to her that she should not speak in such a rude way to her mother.

It was Neha and Sameer's engagement and everything was carried out in a very smooth manner. But, during the party, Sameer's mother wanted to keep a proposal before Ishwari. She wanted Ishwari to accept the marriage proposal of Dev.

Ishwari has fallen ill and it has made Dev very tensed about it. Dev's family doctor has come to their house to check Ishwari's health. However, the doctor has asked Dev to meet him personally in the hospital.

Shruti tells Dev that she has fallen for him. Dev clears it to Shruti that he doesn't love her. He asks her to get out of his room. Golu informs Dev that a new girl has come to his school. Dev informs his uncle that he has closed down his trading company. Golu and his friends decide to teach Suhana a lesson. They secretly steal Suhana's lunchbox and eat the food in it. Suhana makes Golu's complaint to the principal. Golu admits his mistake and apologizes to Suhana.

Dev scolds Vicky for secretly selling a part of his office building. Vicky calls the property dealer and asks him to cancel the deal. The dealer replies to Vicky that his client has refused to cancel the agreement. Dev learns that the property is bought by Sonakshi. He informs about this to his family members.

Sonakshi informs her parents that she is going to share her office space with Dev. She requests them to not force her to vacate the place. Dev welcomes Sonakshi to his office. Vicky tells Dev that he can throw Sonakshi out of the office. Bijoy informs Sonakshi that he has come to Delhi along with Asha.

Bijoy and Asha come to Delhi and meet Sonakshi. Bijoy learns that Sonakshi has bought his old house. Dev puts Sonakshi's nameplate down from the office wall. Sonakshi finds out that Dev has sued her for illegally constructing her office. Radha instructs Elena to convince Sonakshi to vacate Dev's workplace.

Dev's assistants inform him that a part of his office had caught fire at night. Dev tries to contact Sonakshi, but she refuses to answer him. Golu throws ink on Suhana's school dress. Sonakshi stops Dev from breaking the lock of his office. Income-tax officials come to Dev's office for an inquiry.

Dev informs his family that the IT department has raided his office. Sonakshi blames Dev for dragging her family into their personal rivalry. She clears it to Dev that she will not vacate his office at any cost.

Vicky informs his mother that he has found a way to punish Dev for his mistakes. Vicky sends goons to beat Dev up. Dev makes a call to Sonakshi. The goons stop Dev on a roadway and start attacking him. Sonakshi rushes to the scene and finds injured Dev lying on rocks.

Sonakshi gets shocked to see Dev lying severely injured on the rocks. Sonakshi asks her driver to take Dev in the car. The driver refuses to help Dev and heads towards Bijoy's house. Asha tells Sonakshi that she should get married in the near future. Dev gets shocked to see Sonakshi and her daughter, Suhana, in the school. He meets Sonakshi and asks her to stop following him. Sonakshi's friend, Jatin, meets her in her office. Dev and his colleagues plan to organize a party in their office.

Dev tells his assistant that he wants to know more about Sonakshi's friend, Jatin. Dev's assistant plan to spy on Jatin. Sonakshi brings Jatin to her house. Ronita's mother comes to Bijoy's house. She questions Sonakshi about her relationship with Dev. Suhana injures herself while playing hide-and-seek with Golu. Dev brings Suhana back to Sonakshi's house. Sonakshi yells at Dev for not protecting her daughter. The next day, Dev tells Suhana and Golu that he is going to accompany them to their school summer camp.

Suhana informs her family that she is going to her school summer camp along with Dev. On the other hand, Vicky anxiously tells Dev that he should not have cancelled a business deal to attend Golu's summer camp. Sonakshi informs Suhana that she is going to accompany her to the summer camp.

Dev traps Sonakshi and comes to Suhana's camp to meet her. At the camp, Dev participates in a competition against all the other parents to impress Suhana.

Dev convinces Sonakshi to dance along with him in rain. After getting drenched in rain, Suhana suffers from fever. Sonakshi brings Suhana to her room. Dev informs Ishwari that his daughter has fallen sick. Ishwari advises Dev to give Suhana a glass of decoction. Dev prepares the ayurvedic drink and offers it to Suhana.

Suhana and Golu's friends gather around a bonfire to play games. Radha asks a snake charmer to send his snake towards the crowd. Dev and Sonakshi participate in the games along with their children. On the other hand, Saurabh proposes Ronita for marriage. Sonakshi gets terrified to see a snake in her room.

Dev learns that a snake has entered Sonakshi's room. The camp organizers express their inability to remove the snake from the room. Dev decides to find the snake. Sonakshi advises Dev to not go inside her room. Dev enters the room and finds a snake on the floor.

Dev tells Suhana that he is going to the jungle to release the captured snake. Suhana requests Sonakshi to accompany Dev to the jungle. Radha tells Ronita and her mother that Saurabh has diabetes. Bijoy and his family come to Ishwari's house. Bijoy yells at Radha for trying to break Saurabh's alliance with Ronita. Dev and Sonakshi go to the jungle at night.

Dev introduces Bittu and Munni to his guests on the occasion of Saurabh's sangeet ceremony. Ronita's mother secretly keeps some jewellery in a purse. Dev advises Ronita to express her feelings for Saurabh in front of their guests. Later, Dev gets shocked to see Ronita's mother in the room.

Ronita's mother tells Saurabh's family that Ronita's jewellery is missing. Dev finds a purse in front of Bijoy's house. He asks Ronita's mother as to why she lied to Saurabh's family. Ronita's mother tells Dev that she doesn't want Sonakshi to dominate Saurabh's house. Bijoy blames Dev for stealing Ronita's jewellery.

Ishwari comes to Sonakshi's house. She tells Suhana that she is going to Vaishno Devi temple along with her brother. Bijoy tells Dev that he should not stay in his house. Sonakshi yells at Dev for arguing with her father. She asks Dev to get out of her house.

Asha tells Dev and Sonakshi that they are ruining Suhana's life by their behaviour. Dev and Sonakshi promise Asha they will not fight against each other in the future. Ronita comes to Saurabh's house. She informs Saurabh that it was her mother who had stolen her jewellery.

Dev tells Sonakshi that he will not allow Jatin to spend time with his daughter Suhana. Sonakshi replies to Dev that Jatin had helped her family several times in the past. The next morning, Asha gets shocked to see Dev and Bijoy dancing in a room.

Bijoy's family admits him in a hospital as his blood pressure shoots up while dancing with Dev. A doctor advises Sonakshi to look after Bijoy's health. Dev apologizes to Bijoy for his misbehavior. Later, Dev tells Sonakshi that she should not have left his house. Bijoy returns home and meets Suhana.

Saurabh tells Bijoy that Ronita is missing her family. Bijoy calls Ronita's parents to his house. Elena tells Vicky that she is concerned for Golu's future. She further tells Vicky that they must devote some time to their son. Sonakshi and Jatin go to Dev's house. Sonakshi spots Khatri standing before Dev's house.

Sonakshi spots Khatri in front of Dev's house. Khatri tells Sonakshi that he has a CD which would expose Ishwari's truth. Sonakshi tells Dev that Khatri is planning to blackmail their family. Jatin brings the police to Dev's house. The police arrest Khatri for harassing Ishwari. Later, Sonakshi tells Dev that she is concerned for his family's safety.

Radha tells Vicky that Sonakshi may soon sort out her differences with Dev. Sonakshi and Dev return home and meet Suhana. Suhana tells Sonakshi that she wishes to celebrate her parents' marriage anniversary. Ronita assures her mother that her in-laws treat her well. Saurabh tells Ronita that he is lucky to have her as his wife.

Dev and Sonakshi celebrate their marriage anniversary. Vicky tells Radha that they must not allow Sonakshi and Dev to reunite. Dev thanks Sonakshi for all the help and commitment she has shown, over the years, to her family. Later, Sonakshi asks Suhana and Golu to let Dev spend some time alone.

Elena calls Asha and tells her that Sonakshi and Dev are trying to mend their broken relationship. Asha comes to Dev's house. Vicky asks Dev as to why he is trying to resolve his differences with Sonakshi's family. Radha asks Asha to get out from her house. However, Dev stops Asha from leaving his house.

Suhana tells Dev that she wishes to meet Asha. Dev takes Suhana and Sonakshi to Asha's house. Sonakshi informs Asha that she had helped solve Dev's personal problem. Later, Vicky finds Dev and Sonakshi in a car. He learns that Dev and Sonakshi are trying to mend their broken relationship.

Dev holds Sonakshi's hand and tells her that she is very beautiful. Sonakshi comes out of Dev's room. Radha tells Sonakshi that she had added a drug in Dev's juice which made him tell the truth. Ronita yells at Saurabh as she assumes that he has an extramarital affair. Saurabh assures Ronita that he is loyal to her.

Dev meets Khatri in a jail. He asks Khatri to reveal Ishwari's secret to him. Khatri refuses to answer Dev. Ishwari gets shocked to see Dev chatting along with Sonakshi. Radha tells Ishwari that Sonakshi is trying to return in Dev's life. Sonakshi tells Asha that she is going to stay in Dev's house for a week.

Radha tells Ishwari that Sonakshi wants to permanently stay in Dev's house. Sonakshi meets Khatri in jail. She tells Khatri that Dev and a police inspector are planning to kill him. She advises Khatri to give her the address of the family Dev is looking for. Khatri agrees to give the address to Sonakshi.

Jatin informs Sonakshi that he has found out Khatri's house. Sonakshi meets Dev and tells him that she is concerned for his family's safety. Jatin tells Saurabh that he is going to intrude into Khatri's house. On the other hand, Vicky tells Radha that they should force Dev to get married. Jatin finds a diary in Khatri's house.

Bijoy comes to Dev's house. He angrily tells Dev that he wishes to meet Sonakshi. Radha tells Ishwari that she should convince Dev to get remarried. Bijoy urges Sonakshi to come back to his house. Dev and his family admit Ishwari in a hospital. Ronita tells Bijoy that Asha is concerned for her daughter. Asha and Saurabh come to the hospital to meet Ishwari. A doctor informs Dev that Ishwari's health is stable. Bijoy's mother tells him that he should go to the hospital to see Ishwari.

Khatri tells Sonakshi that he had stolen jewellery from Malati's house. Malati finds out Khatri's truth. Malati and her daughter Kajal come to the hospital to meet Ishwari. Malati apologizes to Ishwari for blaming her for stealing jewellery. Dev assures Malati that he would look after her family in the future.

Ishwari thanks Sonakshi for supporting her during tough times. Malati meets Radha and tells her that Dev should reunite with Sonakshi. Radha angrily asks Malati to not interfere in her family affairs. Asha meets Ishwari in the hospital. Later, Radha tells Ishwari that Dev should not marry Sonakshi at any cost.

Sonakshi requests Dev to not hide any secrets from her. Dev and Sonakshi come to Bijoy's house. Malati and Kajal meet Ishwari and her family. Kajal thanks Dev for giving her a job in his company. Dev tells Ishwari that they should call Sonakshi's family to their house. Ishwari invites Sonakshi and her family to her house for dinner.

Bijoy tells his family that he does not want to go to Dev's house. Dev tells Sonakshi that he is very excited as her family is coming to their house for dinner. Sonakshi tells Dev that he should not have sent his cars to pick her family up. Sonakshi and her family come to Ishwari's house. Ishwari introduces Ronita to her family members.

Vicky tells Elena that they must not allow Sonakshi to come back in their house. Ishwari tells Asha that Sonakshi has helped her a lot. Dev tells Sonakshi that he is responsible for their break-up. He further tells Sonakshi that they should reunite for the sake of their daughter.

Ishwari spots Dev and Sonakshi chatting with each other in their room. Vicky angrily tells Elena that Sonakshi should not interfere in their family affairs. On the other hand, Radha invites Aarti and her mother to her house. Radha tells Ishwari that they should fix Aarti and Dev's marriage.

Aarti yells at Golu for spilling juice on her dress. Sonakshi asks Aarti to not talk rudely to Golu. Aarti and her mother angrily walk out of Ishwari's house. Ishwari tells Radha that she need not find bride for Dev. Ishwari's brother tells her that Sonakshi cares for Dev and his family.

Ishwari apologizes to Sonakshi for her past mistakes. Sonakshi's family get ready to go back to their house. Ishwari asks Dev to drop Sonakshi's family to their house in his car. Later, Ishwari decides to reunite Dev and Sonakshi. She calls Sonakshi and asks her to meet her in a restaurant.

Ishwari meets Sonakshi in a restaurant. She requests Sonakshi to help her find a life partner for Dev. Later, Ishwari tells Radha that she wants to reunite Sonakshi and Dev. Sonakshi tells Dev that Ishwari has asked her to find a companion for him. Ishwari asks Suhana if she would like her father to get remarried.

Karan intrudes into the restaurant. He asks Payal to not marry Dev. Payal tells Sonakshi and Dev that she loves Karan a lot. Later, Dev asks Sonakshi to find another girl for him.

Dev asks Sonakshi to find a suitable bride for him. Radha invites a girl and her parents to Ishwari's house. She introduces them to Dev's family. Sonakshi tells the girl that she would not stop Dev from marrying her. The girl and Dev agree to marry each other.

Ishwari tells Sonakshi that Dev should not marry Nisha. Dev tells Sonakshi that he is going on a date with his fiance. Bijoy tells Sonakshi that he is happy to know that Dev is getting married. Later, Dev calls Bijoy and invites him for his engagement ceremony.

Asha comes to Dev's house to meet Ishwari. Suhana tells Asha and Ishwari that Dev wants Sonakshi to accept his love. Bijoy comes to Sonakshi's office. He advises Sonakshi to forget her past and move on with life. On the other hand, Ishwari tells Dev that Sonakshi loves him.

Asha comes to Ishwari's house to attend Dev's engagement ceremony. She tells Ishwari that Sonakshi is hurt due to Dev's decision to get married. Later, Ishwari comes to Sonakshi's house. She requests Sonakshi to get back together with Dev. Sonakshi apologizes to Ishwari and goes back in her room.

Saurabh asks Bijoy to let Sonakshi reunite with Dev. Sonakshi tells her family that she loves Dev. Bijoy allows Sonakshi to go to Dev's house. Sonakshi comes to Dev's house on the day of his engagement. Ishwari asks Sonakshi if she wants to marry Dev. Sonakshi refuses to answer Ishwari.

Sonakshi decides to meet Dev. Ishwari tells Radha that Dev will soon bring Sonakshi to their house. On the other hand, Sonakshi meets Dev and apologizes to him for her past mistakes. She proposes him to marry her. Dev accepts Sonakshi's proposal.

Sonakshi's family welcome her to Bijoy's house. Dev assures Ishwari that soon he would bring Sonakshi to their house. Vicky angrily tells Radha that he will not allow Sonakshi to enter their house. Sonakshi and Dev meet Nisha's parents. They apologize to Nisha and her parents for hiding their relationship.

Ishwari tells Sonakshi that she is eagerly waiting to see her daughter. Sonakshi tells Elena that Dev should have attended Neha's wedding. Sonakshi advises Dev to meet his sisters. Later, she tells Dev that she is ready to stay in his house. Dev's family welcomes Sonakshi in their house.

Ishwari welcomes Sonakshi in her house. She gives her house keys to Sonakshi. She advises Sonakshi to look after their house. Later, Sonakshi tells Dev that she should not have accepted the keys from Ishwari. Sonakshi comes to Radha's room. She returns the keys to Radha.

Dev gets Suhana and Golu ready for their school. Sonakshi makes a call to Riya. Riya refuses to talk to Sonakshi. She angrily asks Sonakshi to not try to befriend her. Ishwari informs Riya that Sonakshi has reunited with Dev. Riya tells Ishwari that Dev should apologize to his sisters for his past mistakes.

Sonakshi comes to meet Nikki and apologises for not being in touch. However, Nikki asks her to leave the house immediately. Just as she was about to leave, Sonakshi finds out that Nikki is in a live in relationship.

In today's episode, Dev comes to meet Nikki. However, Nikki asks him to leave the house immediately because he insulted Laksh. On the other hand, Ishwari tells Asha that she doesn't want to sit idle and wants to do something in her life. On Ashas advice, Ishwari applies for a new job.

Dev goes to meet his sister Riya at her residence. Riya gets emotional after Dev apologised to her and asks to forgive him. He even that he would never leave her again. He invites Riya home for the family celebration. During the family day celebration, Riya meets Sonakshi and apologies for being rude to her.

During the family day celebrations at the Dixit household, Dev and Riya set their differences aside and reconcile with each other. Meanwhile, Ishwari meets Sonakshi and thanks her for bringing joy back to the Dixit household. At the same time, Nikki becomes upset when she sees Riya's photo with Dev in Facebook. Nikki's husband consoles her and asks her to forget everything. Suddenly, the calling bell rings and Nikki is shocked to find Sonakshi standing outside the door.

Sonakshi informs Dev that his mother is trying to hide something from them. Ishwari, on the other hand, wants Dev and Sonakshi to spend more time together. Sonakshi's mother, Asha, informs Ishwari that she does not want her to read her book, as it is based on their lives, and she might not like her representation in the book. Ishwari pacifies Asha and informs her that she has moved on from her past.

Ishwari begins her internship inRaman's office. Sonakshi is surprised to see Dev taking extra care of her. Dev tries to fulfil every wish of Sonakshi. Later, Ishwari tries to adjust to her new environment.

Laksh appreciates Ishwari for her excellent writing and gifts her his favourite pen as a reward. Meanwhile, Dev tells Nikki that she doesn't share her personal life problems anymore because she is blindly in love. On one hand, Ishwari is worried how she will tell Sonakshi and Dev that she has started working and on the other hand, Dev and Sonakshi are worried how they will tell Ishwari about Nikki's relationship.

Sonakshi and Dev plan to take Ishwari out for a dinner to tell her about Nikki's relationship. Ishwari immediately agrees thinking that she can also tell them about her new job. Before they could even tell Ishwari about the same, Laksh and Nikki also arrive at the same restaurant.

Dev remembers his past and gets dejected. When he returns home, he shows his disappointment and does not utter a word to Ishwari. Sonakshi meets Dev and informs him that Ishwari has been waiting for him. Then, Dev receives an apology through a text from Ishwari. Dev is surprised to see the text and decides to bring a smile on Ishwari's face.

Vicky meets Dev and tells him that he should restrain Ishwari from going to the office. Vicky also accuses Sonakshi of prompting Ishwari to take up the job. Dev, however, rebuffs Vicky and informs him that the decision to let Ishwari take up the job was taken collectively by him and Sonakshi. Dev's reply agitates Vicky, who fumes with anger.

Sonakshi informs Ishwari that Nikki is in a relationship. Ishwari finds it hard to accept. Sonakshi assures Ishwari that Nikki is serious about this relationship and she is quite happy. Later, Nikki makes a phone call on Dev's landline as she is missing Ishwari. But, when Sonakshi picks up the phone, Nikki cuts the call.

Neha's arrival brings joy in the Dev household. Ishwari is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Nikki and asks Sonakshi about her. Dev calls up Nikki and asks her not to come to the house. But, surprisingly, Nikki decides to pay a visit to Dev's house. The family members come to know that Nikki is in a live in relationship.

Dev tries to convince Ishwari about Nikki's relationship. Meanwhile, Vicky is unhappy that Dev dictates the terms in the household. Later, Ishwari informs Dev that she has resigned from her job. Dev tries to pacify Ishwari in an attempt to persuade her.

Ishwari hides the fact that she has resigned from her job from Asha. Meanwhile, romance between Dev and Sonakshi is brewing and getting a new lease of life. Dev and Sonakshi are shocked to see Ishwari with Nikki. Ishwari informs Dev that she has given her consent to Nikki's relationship. She also allows Nikki to stay with her, which delights Dev and Sonakshi.

Sonakshi receives a call from an investor who wants her to meet him immediately. Seeing Dev enjoying himself with his sisters, Sonakshi does not inform him about this and leaves alone. After the meeting, Sonakshi gets stuck in the highway as her car breaks down. Sonakshi gets on a bus to reach home, but she is surrounded by a bunch of drunkards in the empty bus.

Dev calls up Ishwari and informs her that Sonakshi is with her. The two are drawn to each other like never before as they share a romantic moment in each others arms. Later, Dev stops Sonakshi from leaving for work. Sonakshi pacifies an unwell Dev and leaves for work. While at work, Sonakshi signs a crucial deal, thanks to Dev's influence. Sonakshi vents out her anger on Dev as he recommended her to the client.

Sonakshi is upset with Dev as he is interfering in her business deals. Then, fire breaks out in Dev's office. He rushes towards Sonakshi's office, believing that she is trapped inside. He barges into her office but, thankfully, finds her safe outside. Later, Dev gifts a mangalsutra to Sonakshi and puts sindoor on her forehead.

Sonakshi finds out that Dev is tracking her through her phone. She gets upset and expresses her dissatisfaction about it. Dev explains to her that he is not stalking her but wants to make sure if she is safe. Dev becomes upset about it and refuses to speak with Sonakshi.

Sonakshi is worried about Dev's possessiveness. She is worried about Dev and believes that he wont be able to concentrate on his work. Vicky is glad as he can steal the software while Dev is busy around Sonakshi. Then, Dev follows Sonakshi, worried about her safety, and finds her at an accident scene. He takes her home and asks her to stay put for the day. In the meantime, Vikcy gets the opportunity to steal the software.

Sonakshi tries to reason with Dev but after speaking to him from the other side of the door, she comes to know that Dev has left for the office. Meanwhile, Sonakshi receives a call from the mother, who informs her that Ronita is pregnant. Sonakshi visits Ronita to congratulate her. Later, Dev is furious that Sonakshi has left the house without informing him.

Sonakshi informs Dev that she was with Ronita, who is pregnant, and that she will give her the love and care she was deprived of when she was pregnant herself. The next day, Sonakshi learns that Dev has visited her home to meet Ronita, and she is pleased about it. Meanwhile, Vicky learns that the software he had stolen from Dev was a dummy software. Thakkar threatens him to give him the original software or return the money he owes. Later, Sonakshi and Elena overhears Vicky speaking about how he had broken Sona'smarriage with Dev seven years back.

Elena informs Sonakshi that she should reveal the truth to Dev. But, Sonakshi does not do so. Vicky seeks forgiveness from Sonakshi, concealing his true intentions. Sonakshi gives a final warning to Vicky and he assures her that he will never betray Dev again.

Dev discovers that Vicky had tried to steal his software and sell it to his competitors. Dev drags Vicky to his home and reveals the shocking secret to his family members. Vicky begs for forgiveness from Ishwari and his family. Then, Dev announces that Vicky cannot stay in the house any longer. Later, Dev confronts Sonakshi for hiding Vicky's secret from him.

Dev refuses to send Sonakshi out of the house, even if it is for a meeting. Sonakshi does not like being restricted and makes Dev aware about this. Ishwari, too, asks Sonakshi to be at home but Sonakshi does not agree with this. Later, Suhana meets with an accident and Dev rushes to the scene. He vents out his anger on Sonakshi as she was not there for Suhana. Dev is surprised to learn that Vicky is at the hospital looking after Suhana.

Dev introduces Sonakshi to interior designers, who are designing Sonakshi's office in Dev's home. Sonakshi does not agree with this and refuses to work from home. Ishwari, too, supports Dev and insists that Sonakshi set up an office at home. Later, when Sonakshi goes to office, she learns that all her meetings have been scheduled at her home. Learning that Dev has done it without her consent, Sonakshi gets enraged.

Sonakshi is furious with Dev for rescheduling her meetings and bringing her employees to their house for their meeting. She tells Dev that he is snatching away her freedom with his way of loving her. Dev, though, is convinced that he is not a fault and that Sonakshi is unable to understand his love. Sonakshi reminds Dev that he cannot expect their relationship to be the same as the one he shares with his mom. Ishwari overhears this conversation and decides to solve this squabble.

Sonakshi and Dev spend a romantic time in the rain after which, Sonakshi asks Dev to go on a date with her. Meanwhile,Elena learns that Soha has failed in maths and that she is hiding this from her parents. She tells Ishwari that Dev and Sonakshi might have been so busy in solving their problems that they might have overlooked Soha.

Elena learns that Vicky is working in a restaurant as the manager from Sonakshi. She tellsElena that this shows that Vicky is try to change for the better.Elena , Soha, and Golu visit the restuarant to meet Vicky. Vicky takes leave from his work to drop them to school. However, Dev is furious when he sees Vicky playing with Soha in the school and slaps him.

Baldev and Ishwari try to convince Radha that everything will be sorted but Radha refuses to believe that. Meanwhile, Sonakshi and Ishwari learn that Elena is planning to leave the house along with Golu to go and leave with Vicky.

Soha and Dev are sad about Golu's departure from the house. Dev goes to meet Golu in his school and tries to convince him to come back to their house, however, Golu refuses to do so. Meanwhile, Sonakshi visits Elena but fails to convince her to return to their home. Later, Dev picks up Golu on the way to his school and takes him on an outing on his bike.

Sonakshi returns from her home with boxes containing a lot of memories from her childhood, which she shares with Dev. She also tells Dev that they need to be better parents for Soha. Dev and Sonakshi plan for the upcoming birthday of Soha but they get sad when a call from Soha's class teacher informs them that Soha and Golu have been missing classes regularly.

Dev blames Sonakshi for meeting Vicky, the man who tried to separate them and create rifts in their relationships. Ishwari tries to appease Dev but remains adamant. Dev tells Ishwari that Vicky is still conniving against him and his attitude against Vicky will never change. Dev's decision irks Sonakshi, who has been trying to reconcile Vicky and Dev for Soha's well-being.

Soha cuts the vanilla cake which Vicky and Golu had brought for her, and the duo manage to escape before Dev sees them. Meanwhile, Dev and Sonakshi prepare a chocolate cake for Soha and bring it to her. However, Soha tells them that they should have known that she only likes vanilla cake. Dev's mother makes Soha understand that what she had said is wrong, and she celebrates by the cutting the cake with her mom and dad. Later, as Soha is about to leave for Soha's birthday party, she receives an urgent call from her dad.

Dev and Ishwari are worried about Sonakshi's absence from the birthday party. Meanwhile, Saurabh and Bijoy complain about Sonakshi's carelessness in signing the cheques which has lead to the legal notice. Eventually, Sonakshi and her family arrives at the party. However, Soha refuses to cut her birthday cake till Vicky is brought to the party.

Vicky arrives at Soha's birthday party and is delighted for successfully carrying out his plan to leave Dev waiting for him in his house and miss Soha's cake cutting. However, to his shock, Dev had already arrived. After Soha cuts her cake, Dev reveals to Vicky how he had know about his plan, and how he had Sonakshi had foiled it. He also hands over the documents of a company he had started after Golu was born in order to secure Dev and his family's future and tells him that from this day onward he wont have a brother.

Sonakshi feels uneasy and goes to the doctor. Later, when she comes home, she nearly collides with Dev. Ishwari notices that she is holding her hand on her stomach. When she confronts Sonakshi later, she discovers that she is pregnant.

Ishwari is grateful that happiness has arrived like a breath of fresh air into her house. She prays for Sonakshi, who is afraid about the safety of her unborn. Sonakshi informs Ishwari that she wants to give her unborn child a chance to see the beauty of this world and live a life filled with happiness and a pinch of sorrows.

Dev learns that Sonakshi is pregnant. The family members are overjoyed with the news and share it with Dev and Sonakshi. Dev is anxious after learning that their might be complications in the pregnancy. Sonakshi assures him that everything will be fine. Then, Dev meets Ishwari and discusses this issues with her. She advises Dev to support Sonakshi instead of demoralising her.

Worried about the health of his wife, Dev speaks with the doctors to ensure that both Sonakshi and the child are safe. The doctors inform that their might be complications in the pregnancy. This upsets Dev and he asks the doctors to leave. Ishwari meets Sonakshi and asks her to have a word with Dev, who is concerned about the well-being of Sonakshi and her unborn child.

Sonakshi informs Ishwari that Dev has been reading a lot about parenting. Ishwari is pleased to hear that her son is not only proving to be a good husband but a good father as well. Ishwari informs Dev and Sonakshi to work from home but Dev insists that Sonakshi pursue her happiness and chase her dreams.

Dev is worried about Sonakshi's health as she has fallen sick. When Dev and Sonakshi go for an ultrasound test, the doctor leaves to attend an emergency. Dev notices that the unborns child heart has stopped beating. He panics and decides to find the doctor.

Dev and Sonakshi desperately search for Suhana, who is nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Sonakshi finds Suhana hiding under the bed, much to her relief. When Sonakshi asks Suhana about her hiding herself away from everyone, Suhana replies that she wanted to stay away from Dev and Sonakshi.

Dev is worried about the complications that may arise in Sonakshi's pregnancy. However, all his worries are put to rest as Sonakshi delivers a healthy baby. Dev also forgives Vicky and renews his relationship with him. The moments he spent with Sonakshi flashes before Dev's eyes. Dev remembers the moments of despair, the happiness and joy he has shared with her as he welcomes his child to the world and to his home.
