Whew, boy is it HOT today. The Reads decide to head to the beach in order to cool off, but D.W. refuses to go along (she thinks there is an octopus in the water).

When the class goes on a field trip to a dinosaur museum, Buster finds a fossil on the ground - and wants to keep it for himself.

D.W. has an imaginary friend, Nadine, says she has to come everywhere, but Arthur is sick of it.

When Arthur checks out a library book and loses it a week later; he thinks he is banned from the library. So he and Binky team up to find it.

When Arthur desperately wants a dog, he starts a pet business. When he gets too many he decides to just take care of one pet.

When D.W. gets told she doesn't like any interesting stuff, she decides to copy Arthur.

After Arthur called Francine a marshmallow, Francine and her friends get really mad and it looks like they are going to fight. But when they both get locked inside the Elwood City Library they either have to make up, or prepare for a long and scary weekend, because it's the weekend and the library closes until Monday.

Arthur had a job to collect coins for Mrs. McGrady to raise money for a new dog for the Elwood City firemen, and when he left the bag of quarters where Mrs. McGrady was working, she said she never received them. While this was happening, Buster opened his detective agency, he has no idea his first job will involve Arthur. Now, it is up to Buster to solve this mystery, was Arthur the real thief?....

Arthur and his friends go to summer camp and Binky brings up the issue that it's boys vs. girls. The other team participating always won because of this problem, so now the kids of Elwood must work together to defeat them this year.

Buster's grades aren't as good as his jokes, and now he is on the verge of repeating his third grade year. If he does not receive at least a B on his next test, he fails...

Arthur has a new puppy is exactly what he wanted. But the only problem is that he destroys everything in sight, so can Arthur teach Pal to behave, before his parents do something with Pal because of all the disasters he is causing.

Arthur's dream is to have Moon shoes, but he does not have the ten dollars to get them. When he begins working chores to receive money, he got too desperate and does something he will regret.

Arthur has plenty of gripes about his past babysitters, but soon finds himself trying his hand at some babysitting of his own. He ends up having the Tibble Twins' Grandma ask him to babysit the infamous Tibble Twins and he agrees to the job. Despite the warnings from both his friends and D.W., he takes on the task and quickly finds himself overwhelmed. After some quick thinking, and a willingness to keep at things, he comes up with a plan.

The Read Family is having a big reunion, with aardvark relatives from all over coming. Arthur normally enjoys the festivities, such as sack-racing and swapping stories, but finds himself hiding because he's worried that his cousin Mo has a big practical joke planned for him. He remembers her being awful to him in the past and is sure that she has something big planned. However, his worries might just be unfounded.

Arthur is excited about his birthday. After shopping for party supplies, he makes invitations and passes them out at school. He then finds out that Muffy is having her party on the same day, at the same time. This starts a huge battle between the boys and the girls in the Ratburn class. Fortunately, Francine and Arthur devise a great solution to the problem.

Francine has always gotten the worst roles in school plays, so everyone in the Ratburn class asks Mr. Ratburn to give her a good part in the next one. The play is about Thomas Edison, and Francine is given the role of Edison himself. She takes her role very seriously, to the point where she starts to trying to run everything her way and insults her friends. After the hurt and the anger, they set out to show her that she can't just forget their needs

D.W. was excited to have a new little sister, but when she doesn't get to help much and the baby moves into her room, things don't seem so great. Kate stinks and makes a lot of noise. D.W. hatches a plan to get rid of her, but finds that maybe being a big sister isn't so bad after all.

Mr. Ratburn gives the class an assignment --- to write a story about anything they want. It seems like a simple assignment and it doesn't even have to be bound and sent to a publisher as Muffy suggests. Arthur, however, finds it a hard task when he starts trying to write to please everyone's tastes. He starts out with the simple story of how he got his dog Pal, but after following the advice of each of his friends, it morphs into a bizarre country tune about baby elephants being born in outer space.

When Pal runs away at a street fair, even Arthur starts to doubt his dog's intelligence.

D.W. suffers through the death of her beloved bird, then has to decide whether to risk her heart again by adopting a lonely toad.

Arthur is lonely when Buster starts spending time with a new super-cool friend named Mike.

Arthur breaks his mom's computer. Can he fix it before she finds out?

Muffy and Francine are absolute best friends. It seems nothing can come between them, until Muffy cheats on a math test and lets Francine take the blame.

A rainy family vacation wasn't what Arthur had in mind; Camp Meadowcroak was more like it. As Arthur discovers, however, there are 101 fun things to do in the rain.

Arthur and D.W. spend a week at their grandfather's farm, which isn't quite as Arthur remembers it.

Arthur's sure he can win a year's supply of Crunch Cereal by entering a jingle in their contest. The only problem is his song seems to be lacking something; words and melody, to be exact.

It's hard enough for D.W. to do somersaults and cartwheels without having a showoff like Emily in gymnastics class. But D.W. learns about tumbling, and friendship, anyway.

Muffy challenges Francine to be nice, and not to say insulting things, for one week. The trouble is, the gang begins to worry that Francine isn't herself.

Arthur thinks it would be cool to be a Gleeper and win the admiration of the tough kids at school. Too late he finds out that "gleeping" means stealing!

The circus is in town, and the whole family's excited: Father gets tickets, Mother gets film for the camera and Arthur gets. . . chicken pox! D.W. is jealous of all the attention he gets, but will Arthur make it to the circus?

Pal is sick, and Arthur is sure it's D.W.'s fault. After all, it couldn't have anything to do with the hotdogs and Halloween candy Arthur's been feeding him, could it?

The bikeathon is coming and D.W. wants to ride in it. With Arthur's help, D.W. embarks on a crash course to learn the rules of the road.

It's baseball season, and Arthur and the gang are a team. With some practice, and some coaching from Francine, they may just stand a chance.

It's a rainy Saturday, and Arthur is stuck with D.W. and nothing to do; to make matters worse, Arthur has to report on Monday about how he spent the day. A foray into Grandma Thora's attic, however, reveals some fascinating stuff about Arthur's parents.

Grandma Thora has agreed to help on the local bake sale, but Arthur and D.W. worry what people will think when they discover Grandma Thora's terrible cooking. Arthur considers how to keep Grandma Thora's "goodies" out of sight without hurting her feelings.

Sue Ellen's family has just moved into the neighborhood, and the gang is convinced they're either spies, criminals, or aliens. Finally, everyone realizes that Sue Ellen isn't all that different-- except for Buster, who needs some extra convincing.

It seemed like a great idea to have Brain spend the weekend. But Arthur finds it's very hard being around someone who's almost perfect; or, at least, someone who seems to be.

Much to her distress, D.W.'s most prized possession--a snowball from last winter--is missing. Arthur and the gang try to piece together an explanation.

Arthur, Francine, and Buster have to do a history report on ancient Rome. Working together as a team presents some serious challenges.

D.W. finds Aunt Lucy's wedding ring after she lost it at her wedding.

Elwood City's park is in sad shape. After grumbling about it, the kids find themselves volunteering to clean it up. Even though it's a lot of work, in the end they all decide it feels great to make a difference.

Every kid at school's parents has cool jobs except for Francine's dad. He's a garbage man and Francine is embarrassed by it so to make him look cool she tells the kids at school that he's a CIA agent.

A new carpet and an attack of sneezing means Muffy must spend the weekend at Francine's. But the Frensky house sure is hard to get used to: no cable TV, no limo, and they even eat leftovers!

D.W. loses her blankie and she and Arthur search all over town just to find it.

Mr. Ratburn is sick, and the class is thrilled to have a substitute until they find out who she is: Ms. Rodentia Ratburn, Mr. Ratburn's younger sister. Suddenly, Mr. Ratburn doesn't seem so bad.

Fern dares everyone to write a good poem for a contest. If the loser backs out they have to join art club for a year.

Arthur and his friends develop a consuming passion for the Scare-Your-Pants-Off books, a series of hair-raising, spine-tingling ghost stories. When a group called PAWS, "Parent Against Weird Stories," tries to take the books off the library's shelves, Arthur and his friends decide to speak out.

The Strawberry Festival is coming to town and Arthur and his friends all band together and form a club to create the perfect float, but when everyone gets their own ideas on what the float should be they all form their own clubs.

Francine is so determined to get a shiny new bike that she finally decides to let her old one get "stolen."

Arthur throws a sleepover and invites Brain and Buster. He doesen't invite D.W. so she decides to ruin the sleepover.

For the past few years, Arthur kept on trying to stay up until midnight for the new year, but he always fell asleep. This year he decides to not stay up at all, until his friends tell him what happens every year. But they all have different stories.
