A casual question about romance leaves Wataru stunned and sets his friendship with Chiharu on a new path.

After visiting the movie filming locations together, Wataru and Chiharu grow closer.

The two plan their final movie location pilgrimage, but a typhoon forces them to cancel. Instead, Wataru Toda invites Chiharu Saeki to watch a movie at his home, unexpectedly bringing them closer.

Chiharu stops coming to school, leaving Wataru devastated. Then, Wataru receives a letter in which Chiharu writes about how they first met as children and shares his true feelings for him. Believing they'll never see each other again, Wataru falls into despair. But then, Hiraoka says something completely unexpected that changes everything.

Wataru searches for the missing Chiharu, following the letter he left behind as he runs toward the final movie location pilgrimage site, determined to confess his own feelings.
