University juniors Pete and Kao are secretly dating. While Pete’s father accepts their relationship, Kao hasn’t yet come out to his mother, which frustrates Pete despite their otherwise happy relationship.

Kao becomes a tutor for a student named Non, which triggers Pete’s jealousy. Pete wants Kao to quit, but Kao insists—he needs the income to support his family.

Kao lies to Pete about quitting tutoring, while continuing in secret due to family obligations. Meanwhile, Mork starts working at Sun’s café to pay his tuition, sparking a new dynamic.

Mork struggles with café work and burns his hand. Sun cares for him, and their connection begins to deepen. Rain questions Mork about his feelings toward his brother Sun.

On a trip to find coffee beans, Sun and Mork grow closer. Kao, still hiding his sexuality from his mother, envies Pete's open family situation.
